Château de Brissac – Christmas Market

For the 20th consecutive year, Father Christmas and 50 craftsmen and women will come together in the Château de Brissac. This year’s theme is “Christmas under the stars” – a fun, cultural and gourmet event which is perfect for all the family. Under the Venetian chandeliers of the Grand Salon and the painted ceilings of the imposing Salle des Gardes, artisans from all over France will proudly display their wooden toys, decorative items and valuable china to the delight of the chateau’s younger visitors.© Château de Brissac

Château de Brissac - Floralies de Brissac

The Floralies de Brissac showcases 45 talented flower-arrangers from France and abroad who will create a range of original and ephemeral compositions in the château on the theme of “The Garden of the Future”. This unique international competition is now renowned as one of the major events in the Loire Valley. Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite work and the prize for the best composition will be awarded by the Marchioness of Brissac at 5pm on Monday 11 April. €10 – free for children under 12 (including entrance to the château) – 10am-6pm.© Château de Brissac

Château de Brissac - La Vie en Rosé

In honour of Mother’s Day, Brissac will pay tribute to a particularly feminine colour – rose or pink! This event will celebrate the three Rosé appellation contrôlée wines of Anjou, as well as two other gourmet specialities of the region – the Crémet d'Anjou (a typical local dessert) and the Quernon d'Ardoises (a chocolate-covered nougat). The month of May is also the perfect time to explore the château grounds. €8 - free for children under 18 (including entrance to the château) 10am-6pm© Château de Brissac
